BLORA – The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Blora Police managed to arrest a gang of motorbike thieves using a modified key. The perpetrators who were arrested were a cross-provincial gang.

Kasatreskrim Blora Police, AKP Supriyono, revealed that this perpetrator was classified as using a new and sophisticated mode.

The police are currently securing evidence of money, brown jackets, vehicle registration and 10 complete Beat motorcycles at the Blora Police Headquarters, and the threat of punishment for the perpetrators is seven years in prison. 

The perpetrators numbered two people, namely one person as a picker and one person as a seller. 

"The perpetrators are smart, because they are trying to break up the action, namely the picker and the seller," said Supriyono.

According to the perpetrator's confession, the stolen motorbikes were sold to other people by COD or by meeting at the Cepu District Terminal Parking area. The perpetrator was caught by the police in the Jepon area, Blora some time ago. 

Meanwhile, one of the perpetrators admitted to committing this theft because of economic problems.
