According to AHY PERPU Number 2 of 2022 this is not in accordance with the Constitutional Court ruling Number 91/PUU-XVIII/2020 whose content requires the community to be involved in the repair process.
In addition to the limited public involvement, several elements of society also complained because of limited access to law material during the revision process, AHY considered that the process of revising the COPY-WORK LAW was not quite right.
“After being declared conditionally unconstitutional, it is clear that the Constitutional Court asked for improvements through an aspirational, participatory and legitimate legislative process. Instead of replacing the law through a Perppu.”

“If the reason for issuing the Perppu has to be a matter of urgency, then this argument of urgency does not appear in this Perppu. In fact, there does not appear to be a significant difference between the contents of this Perppu and the materials of the previous law,” he said.
AHY warned not to fall into the same hole.
“It has been proven that after the issuance of this Perppu, the public and workers are still shouting and suing again about the minimum wage scheme, outsourcing rules, PKWT, layoff rules, foreign workers, leave schemes, and others. Let’s keep learning. Let’s not fall into the same hole,” said AHY.
Previously, Jokowi said, his party would explain every polemic in Perppu Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation.
“Usually, in every policy and regulation there are pros and cons, but we can explain everything,” Jokowi said at the Tanah Abang Market, Central Jakarta, Monday (2/1/2023).
