Pertamina Plumpang depot in North Jakarta had previously exploded in 2009. And the incident occurred at 21.20 WIB. The fire was extinguished on Monday morning, around 6:15 am.

Pertamina at the time said that the fire had caused losses of up to around Rp 17 billion. Meanwhile, the death toll from the incident amounted to one person, a security guard at the facility.
