
Blorainfo – The Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Blora Police issued a circular prohibiting junior high school and high school students from riding motorbikes to school.
The reason is that the majority of these students are not old enough to have a driving license (SIM).
Blora Regent Arief Rohman giving a speech at a development planning meeting for vulnerable groups (Musrenbang Keren), women, the elderly, children and people with disabilities, at the Blora Regent’s official residence hall, Tuesday (7/3/2023).
“Responding to the letter from the Blora Police Traffic Unit regarding the ban on students who do not have a driver’s license to ride motorbikes to school, please the Education Office as soon as possible hold a joint meeting with angkot and mini bus operators,” said Arief Rohman.
“Work with the Department of Transportation so that public transportation and mini buses that are empty of passengers can be busy again, especially for students.
“”Please discuss the concept together with school principals and committees,” continued Arief Rohman.
